For sale is a 12″ statue of the Egyptian God Khnum that is guilded in 24 kt gold leaf.
This is a museum quality reproduction manufactured and distributed by Artisans Guild International.
The statue is stamped AGI 88 on the back of the base, which stands for Artisans Guild International 1988 (the year the statue was made).
All artwork and detail on this statue is made to look as authentic as actual items on display in museums all over the world.
This is a very rare item as Artisans Guild International no longer manufactures nor distributes any museum reproductions.

His name Khnum means to create, so he was referred as a creator god. He moulds people out of mud from the Nile on a potter’s wheel, Ra shine upon them by his life giving ray, and later placed them in their mothers’ womb. He was called “the Great Potter”. Khnum appearance portrayed as a ram headed man and holding scepter and the ankh in his hand. Sometimes, he also depicted as a bull-headed man at a potter’s wheel.
